Tomorrow 5 of January, the waited “Reis Mags” of Spain are going to arrive here. “Reis Mags” are three people that bring a lot of presents for the families.
They are from Orient and they arrive at night with their decorated carriages full of presents.
It’s a magical day for the children. They have a big illusion, emotion and nervous, because at night, when everybody is sleeping, the three men go into family’s house and they leave some presents in each one. The children only think to see and open their presents, but they only can do it in the morning when all the family wake up.
It’s an illusion that we only have when we are children because, when we begin to be old, we aren’t innocent like before.
This illusion is created by our parents, they are who buy and leave the presents in our house. But a day arrives when we begin to find out things and then they are themselves forced to tell us the truth, the “Reis d'Orient” don’t exist.
Then, it is when we are disappointed. But later, we comprised of this game, and it's how the tradition follow.
I hope that the Reis Mags give us a lot of things =)
