Sleepy Hollow:

The story starts with the beheading of three people in Sleepy Hollow and a boy investigator called Ichabood Crane; investigates to discover the causes of this crime.
When he arrives at Sleepy Hollow he hears the story of a rider without head that many years ago he had been a warrior that he decapitated a lot of people. But one day many soldiers killed him in the Sleepy Hollow’s forest and they decapitated him too. The soldiers buried the corpse and his head on the floor of the forest, next to a big tree. The inhabitants of the town believe that the rider’s soul is who kills the people because he wants to get his revenge. But nobody knows the real story, only Crane discovers the truth.
The investigator goes to the forest and discovers the tree where there is buried the rider’s corpse and he sees all the heads of rider’s victims in the tree. Then he digs up the corpse and he can see that the corpse hasn’t got his skull and he deduces the rider kills the people because he wants it.
But later, Crane meets Katrina’s stepmother and he discovers she is the one who dominates the rider without head because she has his skull.
Katrina’s stepmother wants to kill all the family of his husband called Van Tassel using the rider to kill them because she could inherit his fortune.
When Katrina is the only alive of her family, the bad woman hands her to the rider so that he decapitates her. But in this moment the rider’s skull falls of her on the floor, he puts it and survives. The rider rides his horse and he takes the bad woman to torture her.
Ichabood Crane and Katrina fall in love and they go to live together in New York.
